My Yorkies sleep in the bed with me.
Anyway - Lexi slept right by my side with my arm around her the night she went into labor. She started getting squirmy & couln't sleep.
I got up & brought her whelping box in the livingroom with me & sat on the floor by her box just to let her know I was there for her.
I started watching Greys Anatomy on VCR & was really into it.
About 1 hour later I looked down & she was cleaning her 1st puppy - she had eaten the after birth & cut the cord all by herself.
Her stomach was hard I guess because all 4 puppies were doing flips in there all night long.
Do you feel them moving around in there???
If so - Are they really active??? |
