I would put down a piece of ice. Gizmo loves to chew on it, lick and play with it. It helps numb the gums a little. Do you have any safe chew sticks? Bully sticks or pixie stix?? Those are great!
Gizmo will be six months on Sunday and he is teething something fierce. Tonight he yelped while he was chewing his semi-soft food!
And he's biting my hand a lot too right now. I ordered him some pixie stix and that is helping. I redirect him to one of those. Good luck and just know that you're not alone.
