With tears, I put my babies up for sale today. I can't hardly stand the thought of not having 10 dogs and coming home to so much love and kisses. They will be 8 weeks old on Tuesday and I want to really make sure they get great forever homes, so I am starting to take inquiries now. Three already have homes that and I can watch them grow and make their new Moms and Dads happy, four more homes to be found. I got very, very close to this litter, I guess because there was 7 of them and I was so worried about the size of the litter, Lexie's ability to take care of them, and making sure they all got the special attention that they needed to be good puppies. They all have grown to be individuals, with different personalities, and so healthy. They go for 1st shots on Sept 15, and Gidget's Mom, Patti, is going with me to help. The litter will stay with me for a few weeks after that. I started all the baby books and got their first shirts and toys already. They will all remember the good start that Lexie and I have given them!! |
