As is with most third world countries, they do have stray dogs but they are far from being dangerous. Most of these dogs are so badly treated that they stay far away from people. They usually live on their own with the help of some volunteers that will catch them and neuter them and release them back to the streets because going to the shelter is a 100% death sentence to them. They also rely on the good hearted people from the public to feed them. It would do more good for them to use the money for catching/neutering than encouraging people to catch them in a way that usually is cruel and inhumane. |
