I have a female yorkie and a male maltese. Diezel is very sweet, cool calm and collected. My only negatives with a maltese is the easy matting and tear stains
. He also gets dirty very quickly. He gets weekly baths to keep him looking white. I love him to death and wouldn't trade him for anything, but he will be my last white or light colored dog.
