As much as I LOVE yorkies, I do love the sweet expression of a maltese too... Probably I would go with a baby girl maltese, to wear nice pink bows!!! anyways, you can not get wrong with either, yorkies or maltese... and I do think maltese are much easier going than yorkies... at least on my experience!!!
Oh, and I would not go with a crossbreed... I have nothing against the pup itself, is just that something bothers me about spending big bucks on a dog that is not a pure breed, instead of getting it from the shelter for a spaying/neutering fee (leave alone to save his/her life) JMO, though...
