i have LOTS of friends, clients, etc. that have this done.. its painful-but i think the intensity and how long the severe pain lasts varies, from person to person.
I think alot has to do with what size(how much skin) you have before and then how big you are going.. The people, who i know, that have had the MOST pain for the longest amount of time.. didn't really have ANYTHING before and they went pretty big(so the doctors had to stretch out alot of that skin.. -one girl WANTED to go bigger but couldnt, due to how much skin she had(size of her boobs before).
I would say DO it!! ..if you have been wanting them. BUT do your research first and go to a good doctor that you KNOW does good work. (personally i would never take a coupon in, or go to a discounted place for plastic surgery-its kinda like you get what you pay for..ya know??) ive wanted some too.. and will get them. just dont know if i want them sooner or later (near future or after kids) we will see.
