I use the bells on a ribbon and have them on the door and she rings them when she wants to to outside, but you have to work with them. She will learn. Just take her paw and ring the bell each time you go out and she will learn very quickly that's how she gets to go outside. Sydney will ring the bell and if you don't come, she comes around the corner with a look like "Did you not hear me ring the bell?" |
Cute idea with the bells...but what do you do with her all day long, while you are away at work...and there's nobody home to hear the bells?
