We have one upstairs and one on the main floor. We have two because Mojo was trained on the main floor and Lily is mainly upstairs with Katelyn. I wash both together and while they are washing, I put down the disposable ones....course, I am getting two more, so I can keep a fabric one down and eliminate the disposable ones.

I have the black ones and you don't know if they used it or not unless you catch it pretty soon after they do it.....once it is dried on the black, you can't see it. Now, on Lily's blue one (light blue) you can see it even after it dries. But I think they dry pretty quick...I guess I have never touched it afterwards.

I am a cleaning freak and they get washed quiet often...but I have let them go about a week or so without washing and didn't notice a bad smell or anything......but I normally get them washed before a week goes by.

AND they hold up great in the washer......I just hang to dry them. (I don't know why, maybe Nancy said that??)

Ohhh....Mojo is a picky little guy....He hates smells, but both of them will use the same pad....so I am thinking they dry pretty fast.
