Okay, I have posted in two different places that we will be fostering an older dog real soon. He is coming tomorrow night. No one knows his name because he was a stray, and when I asked the girls at our vet's office they said they were calling him Geezer or Old Man. I don't think I want to do that and will probably give him a new name. I am thinking maybe Norman. Now, how do we do that? Is it the same as a puppy? Do we just use it ALL the time? Will he figure it out? I have never done this before. Tonight we are getting a blanket or towel with his scent so that we can introduce it to Sophie. Hopefully this will help her with the transition too. I would appreciate all the help I can get on this foster thing. Thanks for your help.
