oh I couldn't wait to get home to tell you all about it.

Sooo I got there in the morning and the freshman all went into the theatre to be assigned to our home room classes. Let me clarify that I go to a VoTech school, but the theatre/dance program is the only one you have to audition for and it's not on the same schedule as the rest of the shops. So my acting teacher called all the freshman theatre kids together (there's 7 of us) and we introduced ourselves. Then we went off to our homeroom classes. I have Algebra with the same teacher the next period, but we didn't do any of that today.

After that I go to the next hall (our hallways go A,B,C,D,E,F, and G). My science teacher is awesome. She is very sarcastic which I love. We also had to figure out a math problem for something we were working on. My school is VERY strict about cell phones, we can't have them out at all. but she was like "You guys can take out your phones to use the calculators." and we just looked at her and she was like "I'm serious! What, do you think I'll wait for you to take them out then go 'Psych!' and take them from you?" Which was pretty amusing.

Then after that I have gym. we didn't do anything today. I went right from there to lunch. I ate with Gabe (from the theatre program) and some other boy. After that I had Spanish. I've taken Spanish for the last 7 years, and I haven't learned much of anything because my teacher sucked. but this teacher is awesome and she is actually spanish. she's very funny and I think she's gonna be an awesome teacher.

After that, I have English. I have to walk from hall G to hall A. fun. My teacher is very weird. She's just...odd. I don't know what it is about her. She spent most of her time going over classroom rules and complaining because there aren't enough desks.

Afterwords, I have US History 1. the theatre kids and dancers are mixed in the Juniors' class because of our scheduling. It's SO weird being mixed with older kids. They're very interesting creatures. They wear all black with chains and one girl has a bar piercing right between her eyes.

then finally, I have theatre! SO much fun. My teacher is incredible. The class is very laid back (we sit at tables not desks, she doesn't really mind cell phones, etc.) But she's also very professional and brutally honest when she has to be. the freshmen are mixed with the seniors because we have to help them with their senior showcase, and they have to direct and produce our freshmen showcase. I love being mixed with them. They're a lot of fun and very nice.

We had to take turns getting up in front of the class and telling about ourselves and why we wanted to go to that school. I said how I had planned on going to the regular high school, but the people from VoTech brought some of the performing arts kids. I said how one of them did a monolouge, then one of the seniors stood up and went "That was me!" and when I told her that it was her who made me want to go there, she ran up and gave me a hug. Everyone aww'ed. and we looked over at the teacher who was like "...I think I just threw up in my mouth a little." it was SO funny (she's very sarcastic lol). I need about $100 worth of shoes for when we combine with the dancers. We're doing pilates (sp) with them sometime next week. My teacher said that by the end of the year we'll have abbs of steal whether we want them or not haha.

I think I'll be alright. The bus stop was very awkward, but that lasts for like 15 minutes then we're there. So no big deal!
