My info. says that it will take two years for a Yorkie to finally achieve the color he/she is to be. I find this so interesting. Also, I saw this on a post, that if your yorkies eye color is blue/green in a photo he will more than likely be silver and if the eyes show up red in a photo the dog will probably be tan. That's true in the case of my two. Pixie is a rescue who is five now so I don't know what she was like as a puppy but she is mostly tan/red now. Little Rowdy, five months, is going to be silver.
