Hi -
We went through a similar experience with Penny a couple of years ago. She would get these pustules on her tummy that would eventually scab. The vet said it was either an allergy or bacteria infection, too. She received antibiotic and a medicated shampoo "Malaseb", same as your baby. The medicated shampoo worked wonders! Our vet even said that if I didn't want to bathe her each time that I could apply it directly to the spots with a q-tip.

Anyway, it worked for us!!

Also, a former co-worker of my hubby has a dog with severe allergies. She uses the clear, topical Benadryl that you can get over the counter.

When Penny's allergies really act up, I give her liquid Benadryl.

Good luck!
