At first the contractions were slight but could be felt if I put my hand on her side. Her sides would get hard to the touch and then ease. As they went along, the contractions were visible because the babies would almost pop out of her side because the contractions were so hard. I could see the muscles tighten around the babies and hold for a while and then ease. When they got to that point, I knew we were in for a delivery. |
