Hi - I have an Izzy, too. Izzy went for spaying in June and she was only 5 mos old but she's a tiny one and all was good - I trusted my vet - she stayed over night (they have 24/7 care) - 3 shifts and state-of-the-art equipment (laser which cost more but less pain). Picked her up next afternoon and just watched her closely - no jumping around (yeah hard to do I know
) and on Sunday/Monday she was back to her old running around self.
