I understand needing income for shelter costs, but for some reason, that kind of irks me...doesn't seem like 'placing' the female was their main concern. Hmmm...
I understand what you mean about paying just a bit more, I suppose. Isn't this post where the OP said age didn't matter?
Heck, I don't remember now...I think that was why I suggested it.
I know the rescue groups here will place one for around $200 or so...better than $1000!
