Another update on Bruce...
Our vet has sent his details to an Oncologist in Cambridgeshire (2-3 hrs or so from us) she said that they are not the nearest to us but the best..they now want our vet to send them a sample of the mass they removed so they can look at it themselves and they are not sure if it could even be a grade 3 cancer (which i think means it may have affected all the lymph nodes?) they have suggested maybe our vet go back in where they removed the lump and take more of the margin to make sure they got all of it and our vet wants to have him in to scan his liver & spleen etc and check his lymph nodes. so now we are just waiting to see what the Oncologist will recommend...the wait is killing me and i'm an emotional wreck to be honest with you..you wouldn't think he has anything wrong with him..he looks so healthy..shiny coat, rippling muscles..full of energy...its hard to believe.
