[Archie's Mom]

This is normal. Every day, Archie's black hair on his back is getting more and more silver. If I part the hair on his legs, behind and tail, I am amazed at how silver he is underneath. The black hair on his back used to be like coal -- really black with a bluish cast. Now it is much lighter black because there are so many silver hairs coming in. He's 19 months old now, so it can be a long process. The Yorkie "standard" I think calls for them to be tan and "blue" (a bluish silver).
