I don't agree with what Vick did anymore than the next person, but Whoopi merely stated her opinion. Why blame The View? Blame Whoopi--she said it. I don't agree with the practice, but there are some areas (yes, in the South) where it is not at all uncommon. If you grow up being taught that mentality and seeing that everyday, you don't view it as 'taboo' like some would, so I can see the point she was trying to make. Does that change the fact that it was wrong and sick? No, it doesn't. But still, I see her point. I don't see how bombarding the show is going to rectify the situation, however. The View merely had a guest with an opinion of their own, nothing more.
