I am just very very thankful that you knew Dixie wasn't right and did something about it. We waited too long to get Starr to the ER vet, and she was DOA. At least we were holding her and talking to her, telling her we loved her, when she went

I suspect that it was the dosage of drugs given in Dixie's case as well. I have learned that you need to use a vet you trust (which I did) but its also important to know and trust the vet tech who seems to be just as important in making sure that the surgery goes smoothly. In the past, I have questioned the vet extensively, but I have never asked anything about the vet tech.
