The only papers I know of are the Registration papers. The breeder completes part with the names, registration numbers and other info of the parents. Then there are documents that you fill out to register your puppy with the AKC or other registration agency. You might do a search here on Registration and that will give you lots of info. Many breeders won't send you the papers until you send them proof of spay/neuter. That should be spelled out in the adoption/breeder contract.
