[Boggie]

Hi,

Well a little about myself first. Im sure im a tid bit out of place, considering "many" yorkie owners serious enough to join a forum would most likely be females, none-the-less here i am. I am a forum junkie, mostly consisting of game/pc tech boards.

With that out of the way, im a firefighter from southwest louisiana and my wife, whom im dying to sweep off her feet with a "suprise", is a doglover. To make a long story short: We dated, she moved 1000 miles away, we kept dating, 2 years passed, she moved back, we married, brought a dog back, and we didn't have the room.....

So technically i owe her another dog. She really likes yorkies, sooooooo......
im gonna suprise her in 2 weeks with a 12 week little girl.

I want to make a connection with a community to share our experience and get/give any advice if needed. So here i am.

First of all we live in an apartment. I work 24hr shifts, so sometimes the dog would be home alone from 7:30am to 5:30pm.

Am i going to be able to meet the feeding requirements.

Is the dog gonna be mad and resentful for us leaving her.

Or do i just get a big Xpen, load the food bowl up with hard food, and put a pee pad?

Other than these questions, im pretty set.
