Honestly, i would have got offended too because, Missy is basically like my daughter, sister etc. So I wouldn't like it if someone referred to my daughter or sister as a "rat" it is rather insulting. But, there are certain people who do not literally mean it, as in they look like it, more like they're size.... because they are small, they instantly think about something smaller (rat) but yeah, it is kind of insulting, if you care for your little one a lot!
Missy was mistaken for a cat before lol, because of her pointy ears, the guy spotted her from a far distance though, all he saw was the ears pointing up hehe, she has only been called an Agoubrah-- assyrian word for Rat, by my cousin, because of her size... but I smacked him over the head, so he won't call her that anymore. |
