Default Help! Question about Joey's breathing

Everyone remembers Joey's accident (he was stepped on)...and he had lung contusions. Well, things have been great for two weeks or so. No odd behavior at all - he seems to be 100% recovered.

Tonight my fiance noticed that his breathing is very fast (the fastest we've ever seen it). His demeanor is fine....he just seems tired. BUT, his breathing is really fast right now while he sleeps (probably like 80 beats per minute if I counted).

The vet had originally told us that his breathing shouldn't exceed 40 beats per minute (while sleeping), or that we should take him in.

Does anyone know what a yorkie's breathing beats per minute should be? I know it's a random question, but we're just concerned. I don't yet think we're at the stage to take him to the vet.
