Try shaving the top 1/2 of her ears, and waiting a couple days. They may stand on their own. Milli's ears flop if we let the hair get too long.
Also, try putting a little cottage cheese (1 or 2 percent) on her food-maybe 1/2 tsp. at a time. The calcium will help them stand.
Finally, if the first two things don't work, you can tape them to get them to stand. Personally I haven't and wouldn't do this, but I know many people that do. It doesn't hurt the dog, and it should help train the ears to stand. Your vet can show you how, or someone on here can probably tell you how to tape them. |
