My Winstin was born June 10 and I have had him three weeks tomorrow. He has been lifting his leg for as long as I have owned him. He hardly ever squats. However, he is potting breaking easier than my female big dogs. He has had very few accidents in the house. I have never been a fan of puppy pads with any of my dogs, even though my mom swears by them.
Make sure you are cleaning the pee up with something that takes the odor out. I bought some at one of our pet stores. It will keep him from going back to pee in same spot. Otherwise he can find it even if you can not smell it. Someone I met actually litter box trained her Yorkie. May be an idea since it is hard for you to get him out. Best wishes with him. |
