Thanks for the tip! My boyfriend will be the one picking him up, so I've already told him to ask for the e-collar. Wickett has a habit of getting into everything he shouldn't, so I'm glad we'll have that on hand just in case.
I just spoke to the vet and Wickett's surgery went very well. He's already awake and just relaxing there. So far, they say he hasn't paid attention to the incision site, which is good. My boyfriend can pick him up in about an hour or 2. Yay!!! He'll be getting lots of spoiling over the next few days!
