People saying show breeders don't breed to improve the breed..You've got to be kidding!!!! Accusations towards these respected breeders that have worked long and hard for their lines and yes, I said work IS ridiculous. I know some that work 3 jobs and still take perfect care of their dogs. That is something that always comes first. Since many of you making these comments don't show, you have no idea what it takes, so don't pretend you do. These women and men have spent years studying and researching and it wasn't done to pad their pocketbooks...Anyone can breed, which is unfortunate in some cases, but it takes more that two dogs tying to make you a respected breeder. Parties, Beiwers, if they're the same, then join the Beiwers clubs, at least they have gone about things in the proper way and developed a standard from what I have heard. If parties are different, then take the years it takes to develop your own breed. If there weren't standards to act as guidelines, I can't imagine what our poor little babies would look like.
If you want to continue discussing ladies, please show a little more tact and respect for these long time breeders that DO BREED TO IMPROVE. The perfect dog has not been bred yet so yes this will always be something to strive for. (Although I feel my little CJ is close) lol |
yes partis and Biewers are the same dog in the respect that they both started from two traditional colored yorkies. But the Biewers would not allow the paties to be registered as Bioewers because they do not have Biewer parents.
All show breeders should know that.d
All we want is to be allowed to do with the partis what has been done with the biewers.
as for what show breeders do for the breed I have never said it wasn't hard work or that it was unimportant. But I do believe that they do it for a hobby and a challenge to see if they can improve their own line. the breed itself has already had many examples of the perfect yorkie, that is how they become champions.
see just as everything begins to die down and we're all being respectful to one another someone comes in and wants to stir things up again.
if you have no new information to add to what has already been said then all you are doing is reiterating what has been repeated over and over.
it was a good debate, but everything there is to say has already been said and those who could not think of anything new to add resorted to making comments that had nothing what so ever to do with the original debate.
the debate is over. The viewers will draw their own conclusions.
thank you Lorraine and Mardeline for the intellectual discussion.
