I agree, they are exciting little critters although I wonder sometimes how smart they are. I've had to rescue two of them (on separate days) from my garage in the last two weeks. The ding-dongs got in the garage and then couldn't figure out how to get out. The big roll-up door was open and a side door was open. The cats were salivating, let me tell ya! One of the cats jumped on top of my Tahoe and when she couldn't reach it, she jumped on top of the garage door. She came so close once to catching the poor bird. I had to wait (each time) for the bird to get a little tired and then guide it towards the open door with a broom. Didn't work though until they had tired themselves out first but by then the cat was just about to win itself a snack!
