Been there, done that! It's the pits. They can really make a mess of those paper pads, can't they? It does help to give them something else to do as they seem to do it when they are bored, but that doesn't always work.

As has been mentioned in several other posts washable pee pads can be a great help. Not only are they cheaper in the long run, but they can't tear them up.

There are many places that sell them. I also sell them. Mine are reclaimed hospital pads that I put colorful new print tops on. They are large approximately 30 inches x 34 inches and very absorbent. They waterproof barrier works great, no leaking. If you are interested give me a PM.
