I've lived in tornado country...I'll take earthquakes....I can count on one hand the number of earthquakes I've experienced in my lifetime and most of them were minor. I got tired of getting the dogs and myself to the safe zone on the average of once a week during the tornado zone.
Homes and business, freeways are built to withstand most earthquakes. If a tornado hits you, you're out of luck, no matter how much of a warning you get.
