I have read that there is no "safe" place in the USA from earthquakes, as the Teutonic plates keep shifting ... and it is truly just a matter of time.
there will always be natural disasters to deal with and we all learn to deal with our own .... so as CA deals with earthquakes, FL deals with hurricanes, the mid west deals with tornadoes and other areas deal with droughts and forest fires, we all adapt ...
