I keep little Conner is a very large cage when I am not home. This was because he chewed everything (including moldings, cupboards, vanities). Now that he doesn't chew as much, he likes the security of the cage when we aren't home. Mine is big enough for 2 (if I ever get a little girl). First, I will keep the puppy in a playpen, as I did Conner until she is trained to go outside. Conner does not use pads - he goes outside.

If you are training Ollie to go outside, you would not want to put pads in his cage.
