I first bought a wooden stepstool because it had storage in it. i figured can store her clothes and she can have steps. She had a very hard time with the wooden steps when she was little, her little claws would make her slip on the wood. Now that she is old she can use them with no problem. They are still by the waterbed, because she likes to climb up sometimes instead of jumping esp when bring her toys up.

We have the actual pet steps as well. Those were great she could use them while she was a baby. They were great when she was too little to jump on to the couch.

Now that she is bigger, that set of stairs is only used by Aurora and Jasmine( the cat) as a competion to see who can get on it first and hog it.
