I have three young yorkies, 6months, 4months and 11 weeks.
Potty training is going rough here.
I use potty pads in the house while I'm gone and they are in their safe zone. A hall blocked out at both ends with baby gates. The two older stay home while I work. and BOTH use the pads 100% while in their spot. BUT.......
when I get home I take them outside and they usually go while were out, but if they have the run of the house during the evening, they will use the pads only about 50-75% of the time. I don't know if they "forget" where they are, or if they are mad and they are punishing me for being "gone".
I just keep trying to "catch" them going in the wrong spots so, I can take them to the pad or outside. Either is ok with me. but NOT the floors,and throw rugs.
