Hi there! How old is Rusty and how much does he weigh? How long have you had him?
Gizmo had tapeworms when we brought him home from the breeder. It can take thirty days to cycle to the stage where you see the segments, and yep, sounds like the little guy has tapeworms. Sorry! Tapeworms are caused by eating a flea. Has he been treated for fleas?
I think your decision about whether or not to wait until Tuesday for treatment would have to depend upon his size and age. Gizmo was given one little pill, so the treatment is not bad.
