I would strongly recommend you reach out to an accuptuncture vet and/or a holistic vet. If you were here in Iowa, I would send you to the best, but here's a link to a state list of trained accupucture vets

I found my accupuncture vet when I had a Bichon that had a stroke, I was going to have to put him to sleep as he couldn't walk - but the accupuncture saved his life! Also a holistic vet that uses herbs can be a real blessing. My vet was trained originally as a traditional vet - so he has the both of best worlds!
