Nancynancy lives in Mobile, Alabama and Bella411 lives in Dothan, Alabama.

Dothan is in the northeastern quadrant of Hurricane Dennis and has been getting hit really hard with the rain bands, wind and tornado watches as the hurricane approaches the coast.

Mobile will be spared the highest of the tidal surge since the landfall is east of them but the northerly winds will affect the southerly ends of Mobile Bay with a less severe tidal surge than if a direct hit would have happened.

I surely hope nancynancy and bella411 will check in as soon as possible. If they didn't evacuate with a laptop, they probably won't check in anytime soon. When they return home, it is most probable that they won't have electricity at the least.

My prayers especially go out to these two members and their furbabies as well as any other members that are in the panhandle area of Florida or those that didn't check in on the regional forums.
