My suggestion for anyone who's been sold a sick puppy or been ripped off by a dishonest breeder:

Make copies of everything a couple times over(e-mails, vet records, registration papers etc.) Document everything you can remember as accurately as possible, including dates or inaccurate things they've told you)

Write letters to the vet that this breeder uses letting them know that they are selling sick puppies or ripping people off and include copies of all your documentation.

Send similar letters to whichever registry they use(AKC, CKC)

File reports with BBB, rip off report, and post a review on YT(it shows up when you google).

Make sure to list phone numbers, the person you've been in contact with, anything that will help future customers not go through what you've been dealing with.

The more people you can reach the better. Check with what laws they broke and file complaints with whoever you can. If you hurt their customer base then you hurt them. They are in it for the money and money only. You might not get your money back(that's a whole 'nother story, use a CC to pay if you can, to protect yourself). However, if you can keep people from buying from these dishonest people they'll have to get out of the business. Plus, with their name all over the internet and their vets knowing how they deal, it will hurt them more. That's why their names, e-mails and phone numbers are important because they might change their "company" name but most likely don't bother to change all their contact information.

Good luck, I've been through some scams and while it was heartbreaking and such an awful time I know I've eventually saved a few people from making the same mistake or being taken advantage of by the same people.
