Thanks for understanding guys! I had a 7 mm stone in my right ureter back in May that I had to have removed via basket retrieval - and when they did the CT and found that one, they saw a 2 mm stone in my left kidney but weren't concerned about it because stones of that size normally pass and it wasn't in the ureter yet. Well....this time, I went to the ER on Monday night because the pain was just as bad as it was with the 7 mm stone in May except it was on my left side and they did a CT and found a 0.4 cm stone in my left ureter but couldn't say if it was the same stone as they saw before. They told me that I should be able to pass it but it was going to be painful, put me on pain meds and sent me home. It was a long night and a long day Tuesday. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday were fine....wouldn't have known anything was wrong and actually thought I must have passed it because I wasn't having any pain until after I ate dinner last night. OUCH!!!!! I honestly thought I was going to have to go back to the ER last night for some more IV pain meds. You know it's bad when Mepergan AND Lorcet doesn't seem to phase the pain a bit. Anyway, this morning, after a long night on pain meds and heating pad and up and down to the bathroom all night long for nothing whatsoever, I have no pain at all. So who knows what the day holds for me.... If I can get it done, I will...I promise.

I just don't want you guys to be worried at all...and I don't want you guys to think I'm putting on to keep you on the hook or anything either. I wouldn't wish kidney stones on ANYBODY! They suck BIG TIME! And I've had my fair share of painful stuff (i.e. gall bladder attack - no longer have that to worry about, appendicitis - no longer have that to worry about either, 2 kidney stones - 1 nonpassable - 1 too early to tell, and a 7 year old son - uh yeah...not doing that again).
