I am NOT creative at all when it comes to stuff like this but one of the funniest adult couple costume I ever saw was when a friend of my mom's and her husband went to a party a few years ago. She was dressed up as a brick wall (just a big box with a head hole and shoulder straps painted to look like a brick wall) and he wore a contruction worker-type outfit and carried as trowel. He was the "bricklayer"!
