I have just remembered that it was not a judge Judy, it was another judge (with blond hair). The case was about yorkie that was killed by pitbull. The owner was unbelievably sad, cried, she seems like one of YT "crazy" mom (in good meaning of course
). The owner of pitbull was looking at her like she is an idiot to cry for "just dog"
So she claimed for all expenses (she tried to save a pup) and her emotional distress (she couldn't work, her health became worst). She won expenses for vet bills, price for the yorkie (I believe), but unfortunately she couldn't prove problems with her health by documents. So if you want to claim for emotional distress, collect all necessarily doc from all doctors you can.
