I would say that if you're trying to grow a show coat, you shouldn't put them in clothes, but if not, I see no reason not to dress them if they like it. Mine get dressed all the time. My yorkie has silky hair, and we have no problems with his coat. When I pull out his harness or little shirts, he goes nuts!! He loves wearing clothes.
