He could have MVD...What were the results of his bile acid test, if I may ask? Many times when they have liver issues, but it's not a liver shunt, it ends up being MVD, but the only way to know FOR SURE is to do a liver biopsy, which you probably don't want to put him through. What food are you feeding him? Please join the liver shunt and mvd group on yahoo groups so you can get more info as to what he might possibly have. You can look through the extensive amount of info in the FILES section and send out an email asking for advice. You have to be careful what kind of vitamins and products you use on him if he has high bile acid results...They will be able to help you with those questions on there....
