I try SO hard not to read posts such as this one because it just breaks my heart and I find that I can't get the pictures out of my head. I find myself wandering back to it over and over again and the tears just begin to fall even harder.
BUT.......
I have often spoken out regarding the puppy mills and I try to educate those that I know who might consider buying from a pet store, or an unreputable breeder online. I beg them,
please...DO YOUR HOMEWORK!
It's a huge conundrum on how we can shut these puppy mills down, because everyone wants to save that poor puppy that is sitting all alone, in that cage, in the store, or stacked outside. But the only way I can see that happening is if you cut it off at the source. Just don't buy it. Walk away from that Pet store that is trying to beckon you in with your sympathy. You have to remember that if you buy that puppy ....many,
MANY more will suffer. If the money stops coming in to these places ...they will have no alternative but to stop selling.
It makes me just want to gather up my furbabies and just luv em up soooo much!
