Well I think in many of these cases the dog gets smart and thinks "why should I eat this dog food, when master will feed me pasta and I like that better" Like my neighbor who feeds her dog a bowl of milk and dog snacks, well of course he wont eat his food if he knows he is gonna get milk and dog snacks!

Like my breeder told me dogs are not dumb and they wont starve themselves to death, but they are stubborn and if they know that they have a chance to sway you into giving them something ur eating they will try.

When i first got Ryoko he did this with me, My breeder told me to leave the food out and eventually he will eat.. after three days of drinking only water and begging for what food i was eating, he finally figured out that he wasn't gonna get mine and at all of his. I have not had any problems with him since then.

stop giving in to what they want and make them give in and eat what you know is good for them.

Unless you have a sick yorkie, they should have no problem eating what you put out for them.
