Sorry to hear that he cried, but happy to know it's okay now. Sometimes they will drag their bottoms on the floor to empty their anal glands. A lot of times when an animal is scared, the anal gland will secrete. Should he continue to drag quite often, you will need to have the gland emptied. Normally the gland will empty while having a bowel movement, but there may be a time it will become clogged. That's when the vet, yourself or the groomer will have to empty it.
