Well, I called the Vet's office at 4 o'clock and the nurse told me that Bella had been sleeping
most of the day. They gave her two injections as well as the IV for hydration. The vomiting has ceased...yeh...but, the diarrhea continues...ick!
So, our Vet called me this evening to let me know that because she's still straining and having diarrhea he's going to keep her overnight, continue IV hydration, send out her blood, and see how she does tomorrow.
He said they attempted to feed her tonight...she refused at first but, with some coaxing she did eat a little...and then promptly let it all out. I was kind of surprised that they would feed her already...oh well
He's said he's kind of leaning towards the idea that she may have ingested an insect
but, wants the blood results to make sure nothing else isn't missed. Has anyone here ever had a dog eat a bee?
