She may have retained puppy teeth and that can cause terrible breath. Have the vet check her out.
You have to assume the role as the one in charge and groom her no matter how much she fights you.
The Dog Whisperer had a great segment on this subject...that poodle mix bite him so bad, over and over...I used to muzzle viscious dogs like that..soft muzzle and they settled right down. hey would assume a submissive position and lay on their side for me to brush them. By the third of fourth grooming session they were angels, got a big hug and a treat..loved to come see me. |
