Of course this is only my opinion, and it works for me...In addition...NO people food at all is the rule in my house. There is no begging going on, Winston doesn't even care that we are eating because he doesn't know what he is missing.
If you feed raw or home cooked and they get different foods all the time then their stomachs adjust to it. The reason dogs get tummy issues with different foods is because they are used to eating the same food all the time. If you eat only one thing for a couple of weeks and then have something different, the same thing will happen to you. I always find the 'people food' thing funny, since when did we humans claim that all food in its natural form belongs to us? So it only become theirs when it has been through heaps of processes to turn it into endless monontonous little kibbles? We have no begging in my house because I teach them their manners, they don't need to beg as they know that I will give them plenty of yummy food. This is just my opinion and what works in our house mind.
